traditional Greek place names) are a group of Greek islands in the
Aegean Sea, off the southwest coast of Turkey. They have truely rich in
history, and many of even the smallest inhabited islands boast dozens of

Rhodes Rhodes, in Greek Ρόδος (Rhodos; see also List of traditional
Greek place names), is the largest of the Dodecanese islands, and
easternmost of the major islands of Greece in the Aegean Sea. It lies
approximately 11 miles (17.7km) west of Turkey, situated between the
Greek mainland and the island of Cyprus.

round, with a diameter about 8 km, and its area is 41.

in the south-eastern Aegean Sea.
The capital of Kalymnos, situated in a natural amphitheatre, is Port
of Pothia.
The town features Italianate architecture, a silver-domed cathedral, and
the Monastery of St. Savas, perched on a hilltop overlooking the town.

Rhodes Island, Archangelos Archangelos (Greek Αρχάγγελος) is a
town of the island of Rhodes (Rhodhos) in the Dodecanese Islands in
south-eastern Greece. It is located about 30 kilometers south of the
town of Rhodes on the island's east coast at an elevation of 160 meters.
Its population according to the 2001 census was at 7,758 making it the
third largest town of the Island (after the capital of Rhodes, and the
town of Trianta (Ialysos)).

Telos) is a small Greek island located in the Aegean Sea. It is part of
the Dodecanese group of islands, and lies midway between Kos and Rhodes.
