The beaches are used by the locals and tourists as well. Not
many people on the beaches and plenty of room to spread out your towels
to sun bathe. A good central place to be and many buses come
and go from the village.
There are several hotels in the area, specially near the beach.
Good property investment area, specially near the village and the beach.
Did you know?
George Michael the renowned singer (gay or not we
love you Michael) he owns a holiday home near Gennadi Beach and Prasoni
Island. When you are in the area ask the locals to point it out to you.
Its the villa is with high walls near the beach front.

Gennadi Village
Gennadi is the biggest of all the villages in South
Rhodes. I suppose you could call it a town. The Council for
the area is located at this town where all ten villages are supported.
You will find plenty of rooms to rent in this area, in the town and near
the beaches. Many luxury homes are located here near the Church of
Saint John. The Church of Saint Anastasia (she's a lady Saint) has
many built in parts from the old Christian period along with the new.
The beaches of Gennadi are a great place to swim during the summer
periods and any period of your holiday really.
