Istrios Village in Rhodes Greece

My wife and I found our visit to Istrios village to be one the really authentic
Greek villages to visit, with no tourists in sight, just your local
people going on with their daily business. We even saw a little
old man on his donkey going to the fields.

Istrios Village
The village of Istrios is one of the oldest villages
of Rhodes Island. It is said that it got its name from the ancient
castle called Istrios, where archeologists are placing this castle.
