Great place to do lots of walking and hill climbing, but mind you you must have a car
to get there in the first place.
We all as a family took the walk
up the mountain to Skiadi. Great views from up there.

Mesanagros Village
The ancient old village of Mesanagros located in the
mountains of Rhodes Island in Greece got its name from the location that
it is. It is in the middle of the fields, so it translates to
middle field village. This village has a church called The
Sleeping of Theotokou (16th - 17th century).
It was built from the old ruins of the biggest old Christian Kingdom of
the 5th century where you will still see the mosaic floors, saved
original wall pictures and paintings, sculptures, and even a marble
Christening Bathe. Around 2 KLM from the village and at a hight of
600 metres you will find the Monastiri (small Church) of Skiadi
dedicated to Theotokou.
