The current
Mayor of South Rhodes Greece
Emmanuel
Savvis who was born in 1962 comes from a large Greek family which live
in the village of Apolakkia.
He graduated
from the Venetoklio High School and from the Secondary School of
Economics in Rhodes. He later went to graduate from ASOEE University of
Athens (The Economics Department).
He worked for
the National Bank of Greece since 1983 as the Business Researcher and
he’s a member of the chamber of Commerce of Rhodes.
In 1994 he
became elected member of the city council of Rhodes (with the political
party of George Giannopoulos (1994-2002).
In 2002 he was
elected as Mayor of the Municipality of Southern Rhodes.
